What is IPL Photofacial?
IPL Photo Facial treatments are quick and easy. A wand-like hand-piece is passed over the affected area of your skin. The hand-piece emits pulses of powerful light that are tuned to the wavelength needed to break up the pigment in the lesion. You may feel the pulses of light as a gentle snapping sensation and/or heat but there is little or no discomfort during the procedure. By improving skin texture through collagen stimulation and improves pore size minimally by temporarily reducing oiliness. After your treatment, pigmented lesions will darken slightly, then fade away over the next two weeks or so. Vascular lesions usually undergo graying or blanching immediately. A slight reddening may appear in surrounding areas. The tiny veins will then fade away over a couple of weeks. If the lesions don’t completely disappear after one treatment, additional follow-up sessions will further diminish them.
